San Francisco
San Francisco is the cultural center and financial hub of San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California. It is the fourth-most populous city in California and 14th populous in the United States. The city was founded in 1776, by a Spanish colonist who built a fort at the Golden Gate and also a St. Francis of Assisi mission.
The city is a very popular tourist destination known majorly for its fog, cool summers, steep rolling hills, architecture and its popular landmarks a few of them which include Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars, Chinatown district and a former prison on Alcatraz Island.
San Francisco is also home of the headquarters of five major banking institutions and companies including Gap Inc, Electric Company, Pacific Gas, Yelp, Twitter, Pinterest, Craigslist, Mozilla and Uber. San Francisco Wine Tours
There are approximately 400 wineries in the north of San Francisco. Most of them are located in Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley, Alexander Valley, Bennett Valley, Dry Creek Valley and Russian River Valley. San Francisco wine areas have undergone a boom in tourism.
